Suman Kalyanpur (28 January 1937 – 31 May 2026), one of the most cherished voices in Indian music, has left behind a remarkable legacy that will continue to resonate for generations. Over a career spanning several decades, she enriched Indian cinema and music with her soulful renditions in Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Assamese, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Odia, Rajasthani, Angika, and many other languages.

Known for her grace, simplicity, and melodious voice, she touched millions of hearts through her timeless songs and immense contribution to Indian musical heritage.
