Rohit Kulkarni

Rohit Kulkarni is an Indian music composer who is associated with the 2017 film Wass…up! Zindagi, a Gujarati family drama film.

The adage once a musician always a musician defines me as a person. But along the way, the rolling stone has gathered more dimensions.

I have composed soundtracks for feature films, I’m a jingle maker for ad films and a creator of songs across all platforms.

I started out at a young age demonstrating my prowess on the piano but quickly incorporated some very nuanced understanding of rhythm into my play.

I was welcomed into the field of professional music by some of the greatest composers of Hindi film music starting with my all-time mentor – the legendary R.D. Burman.

As a child, I was in awe of him and so many years later I still look up to him for inspiration that crosses the divide of the past and the present.
