Manasi Prasad is a noted Carnatic classical vocalist, hailing from Bangalore. She is a disciple of the renowned musician Ganakalabhushana Vidwan Dr. RK Padmanabha in Bangalore and has also received guidance from Dr. Sriram Parasuram in Chennai. She has performed widely across India and in 6 continents around the world. Manasi is a recipient of several awards in music, including the prestigious Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar from the Sangeet Natak Akademi, Govt. of India., Shanmukhananda Yuva Kalakar Puraskar, Ganakalashri, Swaralaya Bharati from Malleswaram Sangeetha Sabha, Rotary-Brigade Young Achievers Award and others. Manasi holds an engineering degree and MBA degree from IIM Bangalore. She was the first museum director of the Indian Music Experience Museum, and now Arts Consultant at Chanakya University. She has been awarded Fellowships of the TED Organization and the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
