Pandit Satish Vyas
Pandit Ji was accepted as a disciple by the great legend Padma Vibhushan Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma – a man ‘so identified with his instrument that classical Indian Santoor playing is unthinkable without Shiv Kumar Sharma’s contribution to the art.’
He has been a regular concert artist for the last more than 30 years or so, performing and recording all over the world, more extensively in the USA, UK & Europe, Japan and Australasia. In 1997, he was the only non-Western instrumentalist invited to perform in Venice, Italy at the “Mostra Mozart Festival”, organised by the prestigious European Mozart Foundation. He had also manifested his versatility by performing as a “guest musician” with the Jazz / World Music Fusion Group, “Silk” accompanying the renowned vocalist Shankar Mahadevan, the Percussion maestro Shivamani, well known Composer /Pianist / Keyboard artiste Louis Banks and Karl Peters (Bass Guitar) at a Barbican Centre concert in London few years back. He also had the privilege of performing at the world famous EDINBURGH Festival in Scotland.
Shri Ojas Adhiya
India’s youngest prominent Table maestro. He has performed in ‘Little Wonders’, programmes of Shri Kalyanji-Anandji’s Kalyanvir Academy for almost 500 stage shows globally and has also been associated with the world-renowned fusion band SHAKTI.
Ojas is fortunate to be heard by the living legends Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma ji, the Santoor Maestro and Pandit Hari Prasad Chaurasia ji, the Flute Maestro, and was also fortunate to play with them. More so, he is also fortunate in accompanying the living legends in Classical and Ghazals viz. Begum Parween Sultana ji, Ustad Rashid Khan Saheb , Pandit Satish Vyas ji, Ustad Rais Khan Saheb, Ustad Shujaat Khan Saheb, Dr. N. Rajan ji , Pandit Bhudhaditya Mukherjee ji, Anoushka Shankar, Kaushiki Chakraborty, Ustad Shahid Parvez, Purbayan Chatterjee, Asha Bhosle ji, Pandit Channulal Mishra ji , Pandit Ajay Pohankar ji, Ustad Hussain Baksh from Pakistan , Shri Hari Haran ji , Shri Pankaj Udhas ji , Shri Anup Jalota ji , Shri Talat Aziz ji , World famous percussionists Vikkuvinayakram ji, Trilok Grutu ji, Sivamani ji, Selva Ganesh ji and many others.
