Bhushan Parchure

Bhushan Parchure is a distinguished Hindustani classical tabla artist of the Punjab gharana. He began his training under Shri Shruti Sunder before undergoing advanced tutelage with the legendary Ustad Alla Rakha and Ustad Zakir Hussain. A recipient of the National Scholarship from the Government of India and a B-High Grade artist of All India Radio, he has performed extensively in India and abroad as both a soloist and accompanist. He has collaborated with leading classical and contemporary musicians and is also a dedicated teacher, serving as a tabla faculty member at institutions including IIT Bombay, the American School of Bombay, and the Chembur Fine Arts Society.
