Arjun Kaliprasad is an accomplished tabla player from Thrissur, Kerala. Sparked by a childhood passion for rhythm. He studied under masters like Pt. Unniraj Kanimangalam, Pt. Shivadas Chemmanchery, and currently learning from Pt. Umesh Moghe. He holds a gold-medal-winning Master’s degree from Karnataka State Dr. Gangubai Hangal University.
An acclaimed soloist and accompanist, Arjun has won top honors at All India Radio and regional youth festivals. He has also received prestigious scholarships like CCRT and NCPA for promising young artists in the country. Internationally, he has toured Europe and the UAE, notably becoming one of the first musicians to represent Indian classical music at Switzerland’s Goetheanum.
