Pavitra Bhat
Bharatnatyam Performer
Pavitra Krishna Bhat is that dancer who is today one of the most sparkling gems amongst the younger generation of dancers (male and female dancers included). His initial dance learning began at Kalanjali under Kumari Vasantha and later Pavitra trained under the renowned Bharatanatyam exponent Guru Shri Deepak Mazumdar. Termed as an effortless dancer with precise movements Pavitra has been appreciated for his pure dance and sensitive Abhinaya by critics, connoisseurs and peers.
“We need to make classical dance more audience-friendly and continue to educate and initiate newer audiences to appreciate this fine classical form”, says Pavitra. With this view, he has been working hard to make his performances easily understood and appreciated by audiences across the globe.
Vilina Patra
Vocalist
Vilina Patra started learning Classical music at a very young age from Shri.Shyama Prasad Niyogi (Vishnupur Gharana) and later from Dr.Ramshankar Singh (Ramrang Parampara ). She is presently learning under guidance of Renowned Maestro in the field of Indian Classical Music Pt. Sanjeev Abhyankar Ji.
Vilina is currently a graded artist in ALL INDIA RADIO, PUNE in Classical Vocal Music. She is pursuing Ph.D. in Music from Department of Music, S.N.D.T Women’s University, Pune under Dr. Pournima Dhumale. Vilina is also a Gold Medalist from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in Masters in Music and
Bachelor in Music with highest marks in both theory and practical.
Nagesh Adgaonkar
Vocalist
Nagesh Adgaonkar is a Hindustani classical music vocalist who started his
musical training at the age of seven at Latur. He began his training in Indian
classical music under the guidance of Pt. Vitthalrao Jagtap. Later, he moved to Lalit Kala Academy, enhancing his musical skills under the guidance of Dr. Rajendra kandalgaonkar, at the Savitribai Phule Pune University. After finishing his primary education in classical music he then moved to Kolkata to attain intensive training in a complete classical way under the guidance of great maestro ‘Ustad Rashid Khan’ of ‘Rampur Sahaswan Gharana’.
Nagesh has won the 1st Prize in All India Radio (Aakashwani) and also in the Indradhanushya Yuvak Mohotsav, Nashik.
