Umesh Warbhuvan is a dynamic and well-known percussionist based in Pune, India. Under the capable tutelage of renowned Guru Trilok Gurtuji and Guru Taalyogi Pt. Suresh Talwalkarji has been learning advanced rhythm and percussion.
Umesh has a distinct style of playing Indian and Western percussion. He has played percussion in Guru Suresh Talwalkarji’s solo recitals and renowned productions, including ‘Taalyatra,’ and has toured with him in India and abroad.
Umesh has participated in numerous music festivals in India and internationally as a member of various Indian Classical, Jazz, Afro-beat, and Fusion bands.
He has been active in both the Bollywood and Marathi film music industries. Umesh has collaborated and performed with independent artists from all over the world.
