Anant Joshi began musical training from father Pt. Achyut Joshi at the age 10 from Pt. Vishwanath Kanhere. Anant completed graduation in Economics from University of Mumbai.Also achieved SANGEET ALANKAR in harmonium from AKHIL BHARATIYA GANDHARV MAHAVIDYALAY MANDAL, MIRAJ.
He was also the contingent leader of Mumbai university cultural group for the national youth festival and won the national trophy in 1995-96.
Culture Ministry of India Honoured Fellowship as an Outstanding Artist of India for the Year 2011-2012.
Anant Joshi has given outstanding solo performances in major cities like Mumbai Nashik, Pune, Belgaum, Akola, Nagpur, Sangli, Murud Janjira, including Jugalbandis with instruments like Flute, Sitar, Violin, etc.
