The Khayal Vimarsha series, presented by Rithwik Foundation for Performing Arts, reached its thrilling climax with Session 6.
Khayal, a form that encourages spontaneous improvisation, blended tradition with personal expression.
Pt. Deshpande’s guidance immersed audiences in the beauty and intricacies of Khayal music from October 2022 onwards.

THE EPILOGUE OF THE ‘KHAYAL VIMARSHA’ SERIES
The concluding session of the Khayal Vimarsha series organized by Rithwik Foundation took place at Gandharva Mahavidyalaya.
Pandit Satyasheel Deshpande elaborated on the musical personalities of various artists such as Ratanjankar Buwa, Pandit K.G. Ginde, Ustad Amir Khan, Pandit Kumar Gandharva and his childhood friend Dr. Chandrashekhar Rele, Pandit Ramashray Jha, and G.N. Natu.
He also presented his own self-composed music. He was accompanied by Ulhas Kulkarni (Tabla) and Srujan Deshpande (Co-singer).
All the artists were given a warm welcome by the directors of Rithwik Foundation, Praveen Kadle and Chetana Kadle. Institute co-ordinator, Rashmi Wathare, compered for the event.
