SAMMAAN 2020 – A new way of enriching Performing Arts! Don’t miss the opportunity.
India is a country with a rich cultural heritage. A large part of our culture is attributed to the varied forms of performing arts like music and dance. In music, Hindustani Classical and Carnatic Classical music are forms that have been perfected over centuries and have been evolving for the many long years until today. Same applies to traditional dance forms like Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Odissi and others.
In a time when the Guru-shishya parampara was only the mode of learning, these arts were taken forward by immediate blood relations or closely knit disciples. This too has seen a change. Other, other interested participants could access this art through music and dance schools or travel to the Guru’s residence. While this form of learning still continues, in these tiring times of pursuing lessons in these arts has relatively come to a stand-still.
The Rithwik Foundation for Performing Arts (“RFPA”) is zealous to reach out to the many aspiring students to help them get an uninterrupted access to stalwarts in the field of these arts through the global talent hunt platform, ‘SAMMAAN’.
