Kashyap Bandhu is a Hindustani classical vocal duo of brothers Dr. Prabhakar Kashyap and Dr. Diwakar Kashyap. Trained first by their parents and later under the legendary maestros Pt. Rajan Mishra and Pt. Sajan Mishra, they belong to the Banaras (Benares) Gharana.
Known for their seamless jugalbandi (duet singing), they present a wide repertoire of khayal, thumri, dadra, tappa and bhajan. Their style blends the gharana’s hallmarks—melodic sweetness, intricate rhythm (layakari), and expressive depth—while showcasing a powerful three-octave range and perfect synchrony.
The duo performs widely across India and abroad, carrying forward the Banaras tradition with both classical purity and contemporary appeal.
Siddhesh Bicholkar is an accomplished harmonium soloist and accompanist, known for his versatile playing and deep understanding of Hindustani classical music. A disciple of Pt. Tulsidas Borkar and Pt. Sudhir Nayak, Siddhesh brings both tradition and innovation to his performances. His sensitive accompaniment and engaging solo renditions have made him a sought-after artist on prestigious platforms across India and abroad.
Ishaan Ghosh is one of the most promising young tabla maestros of the new generation. Son and disciple of tabla virtuoso Pt. Nayan Ghosh, Ishaan represents the rich lineage of the Farrukhabad gharana. Known for his powerful yet sensitive playing, he has accompanied senior stalwarts and also established himself as a compelling soloist. Ishaan has performed at major music festivals across India and internationally, earning acclaim for his precision, maturity, and musical depth at a young age.
