Papri Chakraborty hails from Chandannagar, West Bengal, and began her musical training at the age of six under Smt. Geeta Bhattacharya, a senior disciple of Pt. A. Kanan of the Kirana gharana. She later received extensive training for over seventeen years under Pt. Manas Chakraborty, son of Sangeetacharya Pt. Tarapada Chakraborty, founder of the Kotali gharana.
In 2008, she had the privilege of receiving guidance from the legendary vocalist “Gaan Saraswati” Kishori Amonkar, through whom she imbibed the finer nuances of the Jaipur–Atrauli gharana. Papri has performed widely across India and internationally, presenting Hindustani classical music with depth and sensitivity.
Papri Chakraborty is receiving the GaanaSaraswati Kishori Amonkar Puraskar this month.

Yati Bhagwat is a talented tabla artist known for his sensitive and supportive accompaniment. Trained in the Hindustani classical tradition, he has accompanied several vocalists and instrumentalists in concerts and music programs. His playing reflects a fine sense of laya (rhythm), clarity of bols, and an attentive approach that complements the main artist on stage.

Supriya Joshi is a skilled harmonium accompanist known for her sensitive and melodic support in Hindustani classical concerts. With a deep understanding of raga aesthetics and vocal nuances, she provides thoughtful accompaniment that enhances the overall musical experience. She has accompanied several vocalists in concerts and continues to contribute actively to the classical music scene through performance and teaching.
