This performance was originally a part of ‘Gaanasaraswati Mahotsav 2024’,a program organised by Natyasampada Pratishthan in association with Rithwik Foundation for Performing Arts.
It is broadcast on our digital platform ‘Sharada Rangamancha’ as well as on our Youtube channel.

Featured Artist

Sharvari Jamenis is a renowned Kathak dancer and actress from Pune. Trained under Guru Rohini Bhate, she holds a Master’s degree in Kathak from Pune University. Alongside her dance career, she has acted in notable Marathi films like Bindhaast and Deool Band. She’s also a choreographer, stage performer, and certified aerobics instructor, widely respected for her contributions to classical dance and regional cinema.

Nikhil Phatak, a distinguished tabla artist from Pune, trained under Pt. Suresh Samant, son of the late Pt. G.L. Samant. Known for his versatility, he has accompanied stalwarts like Rahul Deshpande and Mahesh Kale. A regular at major festivals like Sawai Gandharva, Nikhil is also a dedicated mentor, with disciples like Kartik Swami performing alongside artists such as shehnai maestro Tukaram Daithankar. His contributions continue to enrich the Indian classical music scene.

Yashwant Thitte is a talented harmonium player from Pune. A Visharad from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, he has performed at prestigious events like Vasantotsav and Triveni Music & Dance Festival. He’s known for his versatility across classical, semi-classical, and light music, and is also an active teacher and accompanist.

Vinay Ramadasan is a Hindustani classical vocalist from Pune, known for his soulful and expressive style. He began his training at age five under Prof. Manohar Dabke and later learned from Pandit Ramesh Narayan, Smt. Rajini Shrotri, Shri Hemang Mehta, and Pandit Raghunandan Panshikar. An A-grade artist of All India Radio, Pune, Vinay has performed at major events like Pune Festival and the Vyloppilly Chain of Concerts.
He has collaborated with legends such as Pt. Ramesh Narayan and Taalyogi Pt. Suresh Talwalkar. His work also includes innovative projects like Mann Mohyo Sāwaro, reviving Haveli Sangeet traditions.

Dhaval Joshi is a talented bansuri (flute) player from Pune, trained under Pt. Keshav Ginde. He holds a Master’s in Music from Lalit Kala Kendra and is a Sangeet Alankar. Known for blending tradition with creativity, he performs regularly and also promotes classical music among youth through initiatives like Anubhav sessions.

Vaishnavi Deshpande is a Kathak dancer from Pune, India, known for her performances in productions like “Footprints,” curated by her mentor, Sharvari Jamenis. Vaishnavi is also dedicated to teaching Kathak, offering classes in Pune.
